Battle Green's zero waste reusable pads box is a great introduction to eco friendly living, containing a set of eight bamboo cotton reusable make-up pads; an organic cotton mesh wash bag; and three reusable menstrual pads - made with organic bamboo cotton.  

Reusable make-up pads ~ The pads are soft, absorbent, naturally antibacterial, and approx. 8cm diameter. An eco-friendly alternative to disposable cotton pads, use them to freshen your face, remove make up, apply toner or cleanser etc. 

Reusable menstrual pads ~ On average, women typically use between 12,000 to 16,000 disposable menstrual products during their lifetime, and recent research suggests that this can add up to a staggering £18,000. But it's not just your wallet that takes a hit: most pads contain polyethylene plastic which is a harmful pollutant, and many tampons contain chemicals such as dioxin, chlorine and rayon. Sitting in landfill, these chemicals can soak into the earth and enter groundwater.

Battle Green's super soft reusable menstrual pads are perfect for those interested in saving money and having a more eco-friendly period. At approx. 18 x 18cm, these are small sized pads, suitable as a back up to a menstrual cup/tampon or for light flow days (at the beginning and end of your period). Made with organic bamboo terry, a microfibre core and a PUL waterproof backing.

3x Small Reusable period pads ~ At approx. 18 x 18cm. Choose from three colourways for your pads: black; grey; or candy colours (pink, blue and yellow).

NOTE: Reusable pads don't have the adhesive strip of disposable pads, so they need to be used slightly differently. The type of underwear you wear them with can make all the difference for helping to keep them in place without glue! Choose close fitting, wide gusset underwear which the pad can snugly wrap around to keep it in place. Full instructions and care advice included with each order.

Each reusable pad is made from soft bamboo terry with a PUL backing to ensure there are no leaks, and a super absorbent microfibre core. Also suitable for use as incontinence pads.
