Organic Coconut Aminos – All Purpose Seasoning – 150ml
So what is Coconut Aminos? It’s similar in taste to soy sauce, but without the soy and gluten-free. Unlike regular soy sauce, our Coconut Aminos is naturally fermented over 6 months and still retains much of the goodness present in the coconut sap. Made using the raw sap of the coconut blossom, we mix it with a dollop of coconut nectar (and a smidgen of coconut sugar, garlic and sea salt), age it till it’s black, all before we let you get your hands on it. Our delicate way of fermenting also means that the coconut sap remains raw. 100% natural, soy-free and gluten-free. Leaving only the good stuff from that nutritious coconut sap.
So, what do Coconut Aminos taste like?
A sweet, salty, rich sauce and edging up very close to umami, but all vegan. How cool is that?
Organic Coconut Sap, Coconut Nectar, Coconut Sugar, Garlic and Sea Salt.
Directions of use
Coconut Aminos are a natural alternative to soy sauce, but soy and gluten-free. Add a dash to stir fries, soups, salad dressings or use as a marinade with tofu, veggies or meat. Basically pair Coconut Aminos with anything where you’d typically use soy sauce and you’ll be one happy coconut!
Versatility is what you get with this Coconut Aminos. Want a new best friend in your kitchen? Our Organic Coconut Aminos All-purpose Seasoning is who you’re looking for. Ditch the soy sauce and try this little number instead.
About The Coconut Company
We didn’t get here by accident. We’ve been blending, drying, fermenting and grinding organic coconuts since 2014. Over the years, we’ve learnt a lot about this adaptable fruit (yes, it’s not a nut!) and have been at the forefront of the coconut revolution ever since.
Many of our links started in Asia, but today we have offices in the UK, Singapore, HK and The Philippines, which means we have a good grasp on this wonderful world of coconuts. We’ve continued to work with many of the same fantastic coconut producers over the years. We are working with local communities in The Philippines.
