Tiny Troubles Natural Intensive Healing Salve contains calendula infused sweet almond oil, coconut oil, beeswax and a unique blend of essential oils. It is ideal for relieving heat rash (prickly heat), sweat rash, dry skin and other skin conditions/sensitivities in babies, children and sensitive adults such as eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis and rosacea.
We believe this salve is one of the best nappy rash product on the market. Unfortunately the majority of nappy rash creams and ointments are water based and this only adds to the problem (water creates the ideal environment for rashes to develop). To eliminate nappy rash it is essential to eliminate excess moisture from the area. This formula contains no water and is far superior to water based nappy creams and ointments. It also contains potent anti-fungal ingredients (fungus is a major cause of rashes). This formula will provide a protective barrier (it will coat your baby's skin) to prevent urine and moisture from soiled nappies irritating your baby's skin, something that unfortunately water based nappy creams/ointments fail to do. It is a great intensive healing salve and every day nappy rash product.
This salve is also great for extremely dry, cracked, chapped, rough, flaky skin, cuts, grazes, sores, wounds, blisters and minor burns. It is also great for lubrication ie. rashes/sores caused by rubbing, chafing and any skin condition where intensive healing and protection is required. It can prevent infection of open wounds/sores, cuts etc. Calendula is known as 'The Mother of Skin' due to it's amazing healing, skin regeneration, anti-inflammatory qualities etc. and it has a wonderful effect on all skin types, whether damaged or not.
The ingredients contained in our unique formula have been effectively used for centuries to heal troublesome skin and this salve is excellent at repelling and locking in moisture. It is similar to petroleum jelly in this respect but in addition it is anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory therefore it has far superior healing qualities. A German study found beeswax to be superior to similar barrier creams such as petroleum jelly when used for this purpose (Locking in/repelling moisture). This formula will nourish and moisturise dry/very dry skin for softer smoother skin and give a natural, healthy glow.
Studies have shown that this formula is just as effective as steroid creams but is much safer and can be used on a daily basis without causing any side effects.
It is a great natural alternative to steroid creams, other prescribed/otc creams, creams packed with harsh chemicals/nasties and barrier creams such as petroleum jelly.
