YouOrganic Skincare is an indie Cosmetics Company based in Dublin, Ireland. Founded in 2012 by Ursula Elmes - a Dublin based practicing Acupuncturist and Holistic Skin Therapist after she suffered a severe dermatological reaction to a well-known brand. Having lost faith in the big brand, Ursula became obsessed with experimenting with different natural ingredients. Using her own blend of essential oils and herbs, she applied a formulation to her skin everyday and after a short time, it completely healed. But what made Ursula's formulation different? It's simple: what she created didn't have the same harsh, irritating, synthetic ingredients and artificial colours other commercially made products did. It was a light bulb moment that sparked Ursula's desire to create a product line using only ingredients as natural and as pure as we are, and that ultimately works in synergy with our skin. After countless batches, feedback from test audiences (friends & family), and with the help of a product designer YouOrganic was born. What has resulted is a Natural Cosmetic range that is gentle on the skin, sourced from fair trade suppliers, and contains no nasty chemicals. And naturally, we are against animal testing.
