Each Lavender & Tea Tree natural shampoo bar (approx 55g) is jam-packed with effective plant-based ingredients and handmade in small batches. They come wrapped in compostable paper, but you can also choose to add a travel/storage tin to your order.
The bars are PETA-certified vegan friendly and cruelty free, and free from SLS, SLES, palm oil and parabens. The colour in the bars is also vegan friendly and safe for aquatic life.
To use: Lather up the bar between your hands as you would a normal soap bar, and rub your hands through you hair, getting a really good lather going! Make sure to rinse your hair very thoroughly with warm water, paying attention to the back of your head in particular.
Keep the bar somewhere dry until you next use it, as this will help it last longer.

Why switch to natural shampoo bars? 7.7 billion plastic water bottles are used in the UK each year, with the average person now using more than 3 a week. Many are not recycled but discarded, ending up in our streets, countryside and waterways.
Note: While many people adjust to natural shampoo bars straight away, some experience an adjustment or 'detox' period. Make sure to rinse well after lathering up. If needed, you can use a weak vinegar rinse (2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar in a pint of warm water, which can also double up as a cheap conditioner) before rinsing once more with fresh water. This rinse can also work well if you live in a hard water area - hard water can sometimes react with natural bars and leave a residue. If you have any questions about transitioning to natural shampoo bars - please ask, we're always happy to help!
All orders are posted out in biodegradable, plastic-free and recyclable packing materials.
