What's inside each clay mask?
A blend of kaolin (that absorbs sebum, prevents pore clogging, and gently draws out impurities and toxins from the pores); bentonite clay (effectively absorbs dirt and oil, and can have a calming effect on inflamed breakouts); and arrowroot powder (shown to soften and soothe skin, and improve skin texture).
Beetroot Rose: With beetroot powder (a source of antioxidants, which have a revitalizing effect on the skin, while the lycopene and squalene present in beetroot can increase skin’s elasticity ); rose geranium essential oil (that can brighten, and help remove dead skin cells); and mango powder that can cleanse pores and improve the texture of the skin.
Chamomile (fragrance free): With chamomile flower powder (a source of antioxidants that can help accelerate cell and tissue renewal); turmeric (said to revive skin by bringing out its natural glow); and carrot powder that is believed to repair and tone the skin, reduce wrinkles and scars, and improve circulation.
Cocoa Ginger: With organic cocoa powder (rich in antioxidants, omega 6 fatty acids, vitamin C, and magnesium that help fight free radicals, heal damaged skin, and reduce fine lines); ginger essential oil (that can soothe redness and improve skin elasticity); and aloe vera powder which contains antioxidants, enzymes, vitamins A and C, and is anti-inflammatory .
TO USE: Take a teaspoon of dry powder and add a few drops of water at a time, until your desired spreadable consistency is achieved. Apply the face mask paste evenly to clean skin, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 5 minutes until the mask is partially dry (don't leave until it is completely dry and cracks). Gently remove with a wet cloth, then rinse your face to remove any remaining residue. Use once a week. Each sachet has enough for between 5-8 applications.
💡 Good to know! While many clay face masks come in plastic and hard-to-recycle packaging, our face masks are sustainably packaged in compostable sachets that will break down naturally. All orders are posted out in plastic free packaging.
